Blacklist preferences

arrow The blacklist feature allows blocking users that are on the list from connecting to your shared resources.

arrow New resource can be added to the list through the context menu on the active connections window by selecting the item Add to blacklist on that menu (Fig. 1.) You can also add resource to the blacklist directly through the window Blacklist settings (Fig. 2) having called it by clicking on the Blacklist button on the Connections screen.

arrow The selected checkbox item by some computer's name on the list means that the user will be disconnected automatically whenever he or she tries to connect to your network resources. The deselected checkbox item means that the user is simply on your blacklist but that user will not be disconnected.

arrow If you add only a user name to the black list, that user will be unable to access your resources from any computer on the network (provided that the user has logged on under that user's name). If you add only a computer name to the list, no user will be able to access your resources from that computer. If you add both user name and computer name – then only that user will be unable to access your resources from only the computer you have entered.

arrow All modifications made to the list are stored automatically along with other settings.
