10-Strike MP3-Scanner Online Help

Getting Started

1. Please check if there are any domains or computers in your "Network Neighbourhood" window (Click the shortcut on your desktop). If there are no computers or domains, please check your network settings, or ask your system administrator. The NetBIOS protocol must be enabled in your firewall and the "Computer browser" service must be started.

2. Press Options button 'Options' button and setup your options. Select network scanning method:
a) Network neigbourhood scanning, or
b) IP address range scanning (in this case you should enable outbound connections to TCP-port #139 for the program in your firewall, and set IP addresses and ranges).

3. Press Search button 'Search' button to start scanning.

Please read toolbar and menu description to use all the features successfully. The FAQ is worth reading too!
