Loading and Saving Network Diagram

You can save a network diagram to a disk by clicking the Save button or by selecting the main menu item File | Save as...and later load it by clicking the Open button or by selecting the main menu item File | Open...

If you wish to use your network diagram in your documents and reports, you can export the diagram to an image file. The program allows you to save the network diagram as BMP, PNG, JPG image files. Click the main menu item File | Export | to graphic file... to export the diagram for external usage in documentation.

If you wish to use your network diagram in your documents and reports, you can export the diagram to a Windows Metafile (a vector image). You can scale vector images with better quality. Click the main menu item File | Export | to Windows Metafile... to export the diagram to a metafile.

The program can export network diagrams to Microsoft Visio with all connection lines, areas, and device types. Click the main menu File | Export | to Microsoft Visio... You should have Microsoft Visio 2003 (or above) installed on the computer.

Warning! The exporting to Visio can only be done if the following files exist in the program's subfolder "Visio":
