Disk Space Monitoring

The program allows you to monitor free space on disks over a network with the help of the disk space monitoring check.

The check allows monitoring the size of free space in a specified folder or on a logical drive on a remote or local computer using three methods: 1) access to a shared folder, 2) SNMP, 3) WMI.

1) In the case of the remote disk space monitoring, the check requires the accessibility of a shared folder or a drive (the root folder, for example, “c:\” or “\\pcname\c”) over the network.

2) You can use the SNMP protocol for the free disk space monitoring on devices supporting SNMP. This can be a Linux, MacOS, or Windows PC, or other equipment.

3) You can use WMI for monitoring the disk space on Windows machines.

The check can return several results indicating the change in the free space value on a folder or drive or reaching the critical threshold.
