OPC Server Monitoring (OPC DA)

OPC DA (Data Access) is the main and most requested standard for real-time data exchange with CNC machines and other devices such as programmable controllers. The program makes synchronous requests to the OPC server specified in the parameters and receives values of the specified variables (tags) from it. You just need to specify the name of the OPC server and tag for the monitoring check operation.

The program can connect to OPC servers remotely over the network if DCOM is configured correctly. If it is impossible to organize remote interaction with the OPC server using OS means, you can use the Agent service that is installed on the server itself in the Pro version of the program. The agent translates requests from the monitoring service to the OPC server locally, receives the data from it, and sends it back to the program.

You can display the monitored parameter values on graphic indicators or a SCADA-like scheme, diagram, or map.
